107.6m Benetti Luminosity in Monaco for Grand Prix

The largest hybrid superyacht in the world, Benetti’s 107.6m Luminosity, has been in Monaco in attendance for the showpiece Monaco formula One Grand Prix.

The 5,844 GT superyacht Luminosity was part of Benetti’s phenomenal ‘Giga Season’ in which three 100m+ superyachts were launched. Featuring an exterior profile crafted by Benetti design partner Giorgio M. Cassetta and luxurious interiors by Zaniz Jakubowksi, Luminosity provides an otherworldly atmosphere for up to 27 guests on board.

Well matched with the extravagance of the Grand Prix, Luminosity and the Formula One share a common excellence in cutting-edge propulsion and material technology.

Many F1 enthusiasts choose to experience the thrills of the race from the ultimate comfort of a yacht, with Luminosity certainly an excellent choice for such an occasion. With a 3MWh battery pack onboard, all the main systems can run throughout the event (up to 12 hours) without the need to switch on the generators. Peace, quiet and comfort are realized onboard Luminosity, with plenty of space to enjoy the fresh air as well. Should it be necessary to leave the event early, the giga yacht can even sneak away without disturbing her neighbours, navigating in full electric mode with a range of more than ten nautical miles. Added bonuses of this futuristic functionality include a much faster start-up time and exclusive access to SECA environmentally protected areas, which are known for undisturbed natural beauty.

Luminosity spent the weekend watching and eventful F1 race, with plenty of drama from the qualification stages up to the moment that Red Bull’s Max Verstappen clinched his first ever Monaco Grand Prix title. The Top100 superyacht is due to leave Monaco on Tuesday.
