Cantiere delle Marche Seals Record Sale at SCIBS 2021

Italian yacht builder Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) has secured a record sale at the 2021 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. The third hull of the RJ 115 model was purchased by an Australian client, marking the continued growth of CdM explorer yachts in the Australasian market. The buyer was introduced by Sean Madgwick and Scott Wellington-Stones of Yachtsmen International.

CdM announced the opening of a new office in Sydney only in December 2020, and soon after welcomed 31m Darwin Class 102, TrueBlue, into the country. The sale of 35m superyacht RJ 115 at SCIBS 2021 demonstrates that the Australian office is already paying dividends, and more the suitability of CdM’s high-quality explorer yachts for cruising in the South Pacific. 

The Sydney office is headed by experienced marine professionals Paul Miletta and Domenico Giuffrè. “This sale in such a short time confirms our conviction that Australia is the perfect market for CdM explorer yachts,” comment Paul and Domenico, both enthusiastic of the great result and strengthened by several ongoing negotiations. “We strongly believe that the CdM range perfectly fits with Owner’s desires and needs with the extreme flexibility we can provide.”

The RJ series of explorer yachts brings the unmistakable signature of Florentine designer Francesco Paszkowski, who has penned a line of luxury explorer yachts that combine functionality with a wealth of luxury amenities and exterior spaces to allow guests to venture anywhere in the world in style. The exterior lines of RJ 115 bring out great character, with a slender bow rake and a robust yet elegant profile marked by large side windows.

The third RJ 115 has been tailored according to the requirements of her Owner, and will feature a six-cabin layout. The cabins will comprise of a large Owner suite on the Main Deck forward, with openable windows in both cabin and office, along with four guest cabins with en-suite on the Lower Deck and a sixth guest cabin on the Upper Deck. 

The superyacht also benefits from a seamless flow between exterior and interior areas. The main salon opens onto the cockpit and the side passages thanks to large doors in both sides of the dining area, and the same has approach has been taken on the Upper Deck where guests can step out of the skylounge and lobby onto the exterior passageways. 

RJ 115-03 will be supported by two tenders, to be stored in the Upper Deck stern terrace and at the bow. The large tender is launched and hauled with a crane from the overhand of the Upper Deck. The yacht will have an impressive range of over 5.500nm and advanced technical equipment will guarantee safe navigation in all waters.
